About
Dr Siyanda Dlamini is a Senior Lecturer of Criminal Justice and Head of the Department of Criminal Justice within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zululand. He serves as a Council Member of the Criminological Society of Africa (CRIMSA) and is an Editor of Acta Criminologica: African Journal of Criminology & Victimology, as well as an Editorial Board Member of the Moses Kotane Institute.He has published widely in high-impact national and international journals and book chapters, specialising in Criminal Behaviour and Crime Prevention. He has chaired and presented keynote addresses and papers at numerous national and international conferences and symposiums. He has successfully supervised and graduated doctoral, master’s, and honours candidates.
He is frequently quoted and interviewed in the media, including outlets such as the Sunday Times, SABC Ukhozi FM, eNCA, and Newsroom Afrika, among others, reflecting his prominence as a leading expert in his field.
