About

Dr Siyanda Dlamini is currently a Senior Lecturer of Criminal Justice, and Head of the Department of Criminal Justice, within the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, at the University of Zululand. Dr Dlamini is a Council Member of the Criminological Society of Africa (CRIMSA). He is an Editor of Acta Criminologica: African Journal of Criminology & Victimology, as well as the Editorial Board Member of the Moses Kotane Institute. Furthermore, Dr Dlamini has published widely, and extensively, in high-impact international and national journals and book chapters, specialising in Criminal Behaviour and Crime Prevention. Dr Dlamini has chaired, and presented (keynote addresses, papers, etc.), at international and national conferences and symposiums. He has successfully (graduated) doctoral, masters and honours candidates. Dr Dlamini is very often quoted and interviewed in the media (for example Sunday Times, SABC- Ukhozi F.M, eNCA, and Newz Room Afrika, amongst others).
