About
Dr Nompumelelo Linda is a lecturer and programme coordinator, who is in a possession of PhD (Tourism and Recreation) degree from the University of Zululand, South Africa, where she is currently serving. She is an emerging scholar in the areas of religious tourism, tourism crime, Sustainable tourism, and Tourism development. She has published about 9 journal articles and 2 book chapters around her research interest and contributed about four international conference papers. She is a scholar with a great passion for community engagement, teaching and learning, and sustainable rural development. She has co-authored with other colleagues from different disciplines within the university where she is currently working. Dr N. Linda has an experience of teaching undergraduates and postgraduates. She is currently supervising (M and Ds) students. Before joining the University of Zululand I worked as a teacher and Head of Department (Communications).
