About

Ms N. Majola is a lecturer in the Department of Information Studies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree, an Honours degree, and a Master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Zululand, and is currently working towards her PhD. She has attended and participated in five conferences, including the UNILISA Conference, LIASA Conferences, the WoRiS Conference, the Information Studies Conference, and the Teaching and Learning Conference. Majola has published an accredited article in Mousaion: South African Journal of Information Studies and has also presented at the UNILISA Doctoral Forum. As a researcher, she has supervised one honours student due to graduate in May 2025, as well as five undergraduate students on their research proposals, and is currently co-supervising five master’s students.
