About
Dr Jeremia Guambe is a lecturer and the Acting Head of the Department of Sociology at the University of Zululand. He has served the institution for approximately eight years, teaching Social Research Methods at undergraduate level and supervising research at postgraduate level.
His research focuses on the Land Question, rural land administration, the rural economy, and traditional leadership. He is also actively involved in community engagement initiatives that promote transformation and sustainable development within traditional communities. Dr Guambe advocates for the value of communal knowledge systems, viewing them as essential drivers of development in contemporary society.
