About

Dr S.H Ntuli started his career as a History teacher at Uyengo High School in January 2006. Over the period of more than ten years he was committed to inspire students and serve them efficiently and expeditiously. As a school teacher he received many awards for producing 100% pass in matric results. He was instrumental in organising and monitoring examinations for students. In 2001 he was overwhelmingly elected as a Safety and Security Manager for the school. In 2006 he joined the University of Zululand and continued to serve students courteously and gallantly. Since then, he served in many committees including the most important one, i.e. Exam Committee. He has attended various local and international conferences including Colombo and Lagos Conferences where he presented papers which were subsequently published in peer reviewed journals. He has published many articles in the fields of the 19th Century Zulu Monarchy and South African contemporary history. From 2013 to 2014 he was involved in collaborative research with the National Heritage and Cultural Studies Centre (NAHECS) of the University of Fort Hare, which was engaged in partnership with University of Fort Hare to research and re-examined the Battle of Isandlwana. He received an award for best empirical research. He is a member of Southern Historical Association.
