About
Dr Goodwill Mfundo Ntaka, is currently a lecturer in the Department of Creative Arts at the University of Zululand. He joined the University of Zululand as a lecturer in 2009. He served as the Acting HOD of the Department of Creative Arts from July 2016 to December 2018. Dr Ntaka is a musician who has worked with several renowned South African musicians such as the late Busi Mhlongo, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Lira, the late Dr Sibongile Khumalo and many others. He is also a music educator, musical arts researcher, saxophonist and a composer. He collaborated with Dr Buthelezi and Mr Marovatsanga in composing and recording the University of Zululand Anthem ‘My UNIZULU’. He is currently working and recording with several local artists.
