About

Avashni Moonasamy obtained her DPhil in Communication Science in 2016. She is a lecturer at the University of Zululand- Richards Bay campus. Since joining the University of Zululand, Dr Moonasamy has been involved in studies relating to the role of universities in preparing students for the workplace, the relevance of social media at public schools, reputation management in the education sector. She is passionate about working within the education sector and getting involved in community projects.
