About
Dr. Peter Masibenyana Dimo is currently appointed as a Lecturer. He has obtained his Bachelor of Social Sciences in Social Work from North West University in 2002 and Master of Arts from the University of Limpopo in 2013. The focus of his Master of Arts was on Fieldwork supervision in Social Work education. In 2017, he obtained a Doctoral degree from North West University, Mafikeng Campus. Dr. Dimo is a specialist in public health issues, social policy and child protection. He has published several studies on organ donation in South Africa. His interest is on the knowledge, the perceptions and the attitudes of Black South Africans towards organ donation and transplantation. He has more than ten years of working experience in academia. He served University of Limpopo for five years as a Fieldwork coordinator and University of North West as lecturer where he was teaching fields of specialisation in social work, social policy and social justice & human rights.
