About

Mr MJ Dlamini holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Recreation and Tourism and a Bachelor of Arts Honours (BA Hons) degree from the University of Zululand. He further obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Recreation and Tourism and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the same institution. Mr Dlamini serves as a Lecturer within the Department of Recreation and Tourism, where he is committed to advancing academic excellence and equipping both undergraduate and postgraduate students with theoretical knowledge, practical competencies, and research skills in the field of tourism studies. At postgraduate level, he has taught Tourism Practical Services, Statistical Applications, Internship, and Research, and is presently responsible for Tourism Planning and Development at Honours level. At undergraduate level, he has previously lectured Tourism Events Management A, Travel Practice A, and Travel and Tourism Development 3. He is currently teaching Introduction to Tourism; Tourism Marketing A; Tourism Marketing B; Tourism Development; Tourism Management; and Business Tourism and Entrepreneurship. Through his academic engagement, Mr Dlamini contributes to the development of future tourism professionals equipped to respond to contemporary industry demands.
