About

Mr Zondi joined the University of Zululand, Communication Science Department, in February 2010.

Mr Zondi has also been involved with the following organizations:

• South African National Civics Organization’s Media, Information, Publicity and International Affairs Officer 1992-1994.
• Founder and the Chairperson of Lower Umfolozi Development in 1993.
• Programmer, producer and Sound Engineer of the Gospel and Religious magazines on Zululand Community Radio in 1995.
• Manager, Director and Author of Conflict Resolution Stage Plays and the owner of Bambatha Productions, currently showing HIV Aids Awareness Musical Drama from the year 2000.
• The KwaZulu Natal Provincial Secretary of the KwaZulu-Natal Non-Governmental Organizations Coalition from the year 2001-2007.

He also worked internationally.

• Amsterdam Cross-Cultural Communication-Netherlands – 1992 for two weeks.
• Thaba-khupa ecumenical center- Lesotho 1988 for 4 months.
• A number of non-racial denominational and interdenominational youth camps inside the country.
• Delegate of the South African Observer Mission observing elections in the Republique Democratique du Congo in its first democratic elections June and October 2006.
• He is a Member of the King Cetshwayo District Executive Committee of the Progressive Professionals Forum (PPF).
