About
Sifiso Xulu joined the Department of Geography at the University of Zululand in 2010. He is a physical geographer whose research interests include remote sensing, spatial analysis and environmental management. He teaches physical geography and environmental management modules from second year to third year. The modules include SGES211: Global landforms and cartography, SGES331: Land use and natural resources management and SGES312: Environmental Management.
Research Interests
Sifiso’ s research activities cover the area of land use analysis, remote sensing and geographic information system. He is currently working on forest health and vitality using remote sensing. There is a number of Third year and Honours students who are working under his supervision.
