About

Ntobeko Shozi is a social philosopher whose research delves into areas such as disability, social cohesion, education, and wellbeing, approached from an African perspective. This thematic focus is evident in his published works, which explore these subjects within the context of African societies. Currently, Shozi holds a lecturer position at the University of Zululand, where he is part of the Department of Philosophy and Applied Ethics, which belongs to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.  Educationally, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law (PPL), a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Philosophy, and a Master of Arts in Philosophy, all from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His current research endeavours are leading toward the completion of his doctoral studies at the University of Zululand, with a projected completion by the end of 2024
